Il Sussurro performs music from the late 18th century, and as referenced in historical writings, our instruments sound best in smaller venues. House concerts are ideal, as are other inspiring small performing rooms. Il Sussurro recently performed in the art gallery of the cultural center Castrum Peregrini in Amsterdam, and at Clavichord Night 2010 at the Koninklijk Conservatorium, Den Haag. Monday 30 August, 3.30pm. Orangery of the Universiteitsmuseum Utrecht (Lange Nieuwstraat 106):

Fringe concert during the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2010. We present the programme ‘Le clavicorde en France’, music at the court of  Marie-Antoinette. Joining us is Jelma van Amersfoort on baroque guitar. Free tickets available on the day, at the Festival ticket office in the Pandhof on Domplein.
